Hell ya awesome! I wanna get some non weed plants in my garden sometime in the near future. And the older post thing. That’s the beauty of our forum. There are so many posts of great experiences and gems they never die, they can be dug up again. Reviving old stuff is highly encouraged! Just like you’re doing w your plants ?I hope it's ok to revive an older thread.
I have a Frangi Pangi, Plumeria, plant from a friend that passed away like 10+ years ago.
Last year, I could barley get it indoors, as the 10 gallon pot, is so heavy. But she can not over winter in my area, outdoors.
So, I had to cut her back hard like this fall/winter period. Went to You Tube, found a 9 year old, tutorial, and followed their words.
Of course, I can not leave well enough alone, and used some items I'm comfortable using.
A few days, I found growth sign, in a few of my stumps!!
I'll put a snap up of my veggie/flower starter garden down stairs.
Hope you enjoy!

Do it mang. Grow it. I'd check it out if you do it. Good to show yer boy how to grow food.Hell ya awesome! I wanna get some non weed plants in my garden sometime in the near future. Very nice, and thank ya for the propagation info!Thank you, I'll keep on then, to finish the plumeria jive. These when they bloom, explode with a delicious scent! It took a couple of years to get her to flower, but once I craked her code, she started to produce flowers. I do not think my food mix is perfect yet, but I'm closing in on her.
WOW did I ever have a mess in pic folders, as in unlabeled, unloved, and misplaced.
Outdoor pic before we remodeled the house, in 2020 I think. View attachment 161778

So yes I'm begging that the root goddess is doing her thing as the tops are showing greening nubbins .
I Last time I rooted any, I got 2 from 6 sticks I tried to root. These gave me roots much quicker. I did burn weep holes, about a good 1"-1'5" up from the bottom of the cups, a poor mans resevoir of sorts. With the coco husks, in there, I gave them so rooting tea once, and some aloevera about 2 weeks ago.
Got a long way to go yet.
Hey SDF, if you cut it, tie a cloth band under the cut area, it will bleed a white milky juice, so I tied cloth strips in the 4 places I cut from the donar plant. mine gushed a good bit of that stuff. The cuttings can be in the dark, while rooting, just no prolonged wet feet.Very nice, and thank ya for the propagation info!
Our pastor has a very large plumeria and wants to cut it back because it's so large, and I've always wanted a start from it.
Thats a beauty of a plant, love the bright colors. What kind of scent does it have, flowery, fruity, or a mix? Thats crazy how the stump will root like that.Thank you, I'll keep on then, to finish the plumeria jive. These when they bloom, explode with a delicious scent! Gorgeous, don't see a ton of blue flowers in the landscape. Thanks for sharing.Desert Bluebells started popping in the front yard recently.
Can't take credit for them. Just a little winter rain, and the previous year's Spring seeds will get up and going.
