Boveda (VS) Boost

Which ones do you prefer and why? I've used both but prefer Integra Boost humidity packs.
Also when do you use them - after the cure or during the cure inside mason jars?

This is something new, they have terpene infused Boost packs.

Used Boveda for years, but have switched to Boost in the last year.
They seem to last longer without getting crusty like the Bovedas.
Never heard of the terpene infused ones 'til right now! 🤷‍♂️

Boveda expired 4 me quite quickly but boost seems to last and work great plus cheaper. I like the 67 gram/62% rh

Now this might sound weird, but I just didn't like the boveda , I felt like I lost flavor in any jar I had them in. I can't say that about the boost. It might be all in my head. But I've thought this for awhile.

agreed. i use the same big packs at 62% like @BH . they seem to last forever and still be very jelly inside

Do you mind elaborating on why you prefer Boveda over Boost? Just curious.

The boost dot.......that thing is total horseshit. It's actually an insult to horseshit's intelligence now that I think about it.

The quality of the wrapper. I think Boost is cheaper material.

Rechargeability. I have every Boveda I ever purchased. They all work great. The boost isn't close. (goes back to the cheap wrapper)

Appearance. Boveda's always look the same no matter the age. Boost look more tattered. (cheap wrapper)

Oh, I also don't buy into the bro science about Boveda stealing terps. It's like the entire worldwide cigar industry uses Boveda without issue but on internet weed forums, all of a sudden it steals terps, lol....yeah sure thing..What steals terps is not knowing how to dry or how to use these bovedas or boosts.

We've definitely had reverse experiences lol.
The Bovedas always dried out on me, can't say the same for Boost.


I also don't believe in the whole Boveda steals terps theory.. Amateur's probably harvested early and blame the lack of mature terpenes on the humidity packs.. There's no improving smell if a grower harvested a plant too early or harvested/dried incorrectly.

not sure about the whole stealing terps idea but in my experience with long-term storage, the boost vs the boveda with the same weed, the boost "smelled" more.

Exactly. I think that's exactly where/how the terp stealing theory comes from. Putting the weed in jars to soon is a haymaker.

Recently, I bought some of these from Bloom, but I haven't tried them yet.

When I was searching Amazon for humidity packs I seen that brand..I think it was a little cheaper than the other ones but didn't have many reviews so I didn't give them a second look. I bought some Boost packs on EBay, they were a few dollars cheaper and would of shipped quicker than if I bought them from Amazon.
