I have a friend who got gifted a few Harborside clones several weeks ago, a GG4, a few others that I can't remember the names. He doesn't have much grow experience (and in the sense of outdoor, neither do I), but he asked me to take a look. He has them in the ground with a great environment, plenty of sun near a creek (which he uses that same water, no nutes or anything, just the natural soil). I saw them when he first put them in the ground, they were struggling at first, but then they came back hard a couple of weeks later. They're flowering now WTF?? It's just the beginning of the outdoor grow season in my area...and I mean they're flowering to the point where they have stinky budlets. He's excited but it got me to thinking. Are these autoflowers? Or can photoperiod do this? Without knowing more background info I'm a bit dumbfounded, however I do know that the guy he got the clones from is an experienced grower for dispensaries, and I'm assuming (you know what they say when you ASS-ume) that he's mainly worked with photoperiods.
