I hope this works for you.
I tried a few reversals, with gibberelic acid and with colloidal silver and it didn't go great. Seeing pollen sacs develop and then end up being barren was extremely frustrating.
Thanks, brother - all still just a lark here in Hughietown.
If they're empty, they're empty. I hope I'll get enough to do *something* with it,
even if it's not very much. The experience is worth the cost.
Man Hugh that reversed girl looks like it should be boofin like crazy. My few reversal attempts never looked that good!
Maybe I just need to talk dirty to her....

Pouring down rain, so I guess I won't be fishing today.
Got the first batch of pollen from the Bermuda Triangle Haze today.
This is just what was in the seive from my initial gathering of fallen sacs.
There's a little schmutz in there, as you can see from the pics.
Can I get that vegetative matter out? Does it hurt anything?
Are there tools that are better for this than a credit card?
I know these are prolly dumb Q's, but look at the title of the thread! :ROFLMAO:

Taped down parchment paper, but it's so humid here, it didn't stick all that great.
Got the job done, though.

Got this from just shaking the sieve. No crushing or grinding yet.

Vegetative matter mixed in.

Tip o' the iceberg. Hitting pause until I figure out this schmutz thing.
Clearly visible foreign matter in the vial.

Usually I use a credit card and a pair of tweezers or a scalpel tip to clean pollen of the schmutz lol. Make a line on the parchment as long as is needed and pick and prod it out. Put the pollen spread out in the driest place you have and let it dry further before packaging. Pizza boxes have been used with pretty good success. Moisture is the enemy. I store my finished dry pollen in a jar with a bunch of dessicant packets to keep aany wayward moisture at bay. Cold and dry keeps it viable the longest.

My understanding re that stuff, when in with seeds or pollen, is that moisture is the main issue. If you can't get the detrius out, make sure it is very dry (not sure how you do that in 80% humidity).

Really hoping this project is a success for you.

Thanks, man - Raining cats and dogs out there, more like a solid 💯

And thanks to you, too, man - I have deployed many dessicant packs and ziplocs so far!
I will use the line thing and see if I can't clean things up a bit. :phenohunt:
