P. subtropicalis, 2nd flush. These things really push out the fruits! They take forever to mature though, at least 3 weeks from pins. I hear these are really potent, too, but haven't tried them yet.
I making a bunch a spore prints, so if anyone is in need...?

A friend gave me has left over agar tray, after inoculating his bags.
Here they are, one is a bit yellow, a bit late cutting it. The other bigger one, is very nice.
They will be supper tonight!!

An Amazon $30.00 Martha, I cut and 3M'd and fit Panda inside of it. I used Heavy duty hard back insulation as floor base.
We are so anxious to sample these tonight!!
Damn, just thought, I guess I should take some pieces to restart a new agar tray?
Oh well I'll blunder forward, like I usually do, LOL!!

Just wrapped up a brown rice flour cake (PF tek) run.
B+ strain from prints I made a few years ago.

Colonizing (one of the jars) :

After about 2 weeks of full colonization, they were birthed, cased with vermiculite, and put into the terrarium, that has about 4 inches of perlite in it :

Within a couple weeks of birthing :

There is some green mold forming on the cake pictured above. I lost a few cakes to green mold. I could have been more sterile in my technique for sure. But I harvested the boomers on the cake above because they looked fine to me; then I tossed the cake.

Made some more prints :

For drying, I use a fan first for 12 + hours, then into a tupperware container with dessicant (damp rid) :

I did not do multiple flushes because of time constraints, so it was a one and done fruiting for each cake.
As I mentiopned up above, I tossed the ones with some green mold that I harvested fruit from. I tossed these into a spot in the yard where I could monitor them, to see if they would continue to fruit outside if I put a little wet dirt on them and placed them in the shade. Some did continue to fruit :

If anyone has some Golden Teacher print they want to trade for some of my B+prints, let me know :)

Been kicking the can down the road for far too long. Thankfully, there are gents like our man @Deebs that have a knack for giving a tactful nudge.

Gave the ol' Uncle Ben's a 2nd go tonight.
Last try w/ the ITW Sombrero was a success, but thought it wouldn't hurt to implement a disinfectant light bulb in addition to all the Lysol and alcohol.

Test driving an LC by the Goomba King .

Will update hopefully next week.

How did the gear from Goomba come out?

Hey Nugz!
I do have things in motion.

Mixed results, but as you can see by the fact that Uncle Ben is still on the bags, they're way past the best by date. I also let the liquid culture sit in the fridge for about 8 months. And my final excuse is that when inoculating, I was a little distracted with keeping everything clean, and totally forgot to shake up the syringe and get everything evenly dispersed.

Two out of the five bags totally colonized. Two never did anything, and one partially colonized. Took what was colonized and mixed the into the coco substrate. Just waiting for the boxes to fuzz up a bit more before starting fruiting conditions.

Funny you wrote, because I inoculated some bags tonight with the GK Shakti.
Will update as soon as there's something to report, but I can't really place any judgement on Goomba King, as I've been sitting on those LC's since the start of the year.

I did..Yeah, I really didnt like the feel after working over an hour with it. More just the bulk and uncomfortable feeling while working. ;/ . I did wrap the front of the reducer with stretch wrap beforehand to limit that hopefully...
