Broad mites thread needs to be stacked with info..Help build this topic..These are the only bastards that ever truly broke me..Ide pour a fucking 5 gallon bucket of breeding pairs of two spot mites with a side of cannabis aphids before ide release one breeding pair of broad mites into my room...Ide not be growing right now without some knowledge from @BH ...Even with that knowledge of what to use it still took a insane battle... without a doubt the most thriving type of pest available..At least that's my story .....May sound bland but the only way I actually beat these bastards wasn't resilience...It was figuring out how to spray them...They need to be sprayed with atomized product period...I only have a 1/2 gallon pump sprayer. It's a solo brand and I'm certain no other pump style sprayer would work the way it needs too..Been there .. Multiple brands...If I pump this untill I'm truly worried about rupture and my shoulder is pissed it almost fogs...That super fine mist almost fog is the ONLY thing that will kill these MFs..That's my short piece. If ya truly enjoy growing and ya cross path with these bastards....Well that will quickly separate ya from what your willing to deal with or not.

Your right @HBZ on the 100% contact . For years I would be neglecting the whole th(ng about full coverage needs and a hand pumped version and how much loss it’s obvious now I can’t use that kind for true IPM spraying on non systemic based products.This is what I use indoors and outdoors now , they work insane good . Key is looking around for the “discounted price”. I found 1 on eBay new (asking 125) , I offered and got it for 89. this item may seem overkill but man it def is strong and can make 100% coverage.

I’m sure there are better versions for smaller scale , I just know if I bought a super expensive version somehow it would break and I can’t afford that yearly . everyone’s got a budget eh

Side note on any sprayer also is to “purge” it by when ur done by dumping existing liquid away, rinse twice . Than add some water but spray for 20-30 seconds . than dump water . This makes it purged and def will save ya sprayers but also prevents residue inside ur tank or in the spray lines.

I killed everything with the two spotted, could not even deal with those guys, can't imagine broads labor or cost wise, been super nice not to have to spray pesticides, oils, soaps etc. I totally get ipm for larger operators or organics, but if u don't have to spray, why would ya. Anybody that says spraying, even oils, doesn't affect plants in some way, wether its quality, speed of growth or yield is nuts!!

I soaked my sprayed tips H202 for a day. Didn't do a damn bit of good... Overnight in rubbing alcohol and they was brand new..That suffoilX is pretty Oily..Even if ya flush em the tips need extra care. Just won't work right for broads if it's even a touch plugged..Ya know how many times I've had product just dripping off a plant....Almost every time for a long time..For some reason that will not kill broad mites...It's definitely the atomized that gets em and that's the damn truth

Nahhh @BH ... everyone has there own ways of doing things...Face it not even one grower in this whole community grows the same way..You are a MASTER grower with your ways..Other ppls methods probably don't make a damn bit of sense to you..And it shouldn't...Why would fix what's damn sure not broken..Crazy to think we all need to agree only one way is the way..... Everyone should just soak up every damn angle of grow knowledge they can and create there own path... Growing period is absolutely nothing about profit..I lose money..I grow for the respect and love for the plant and a huge bonus.. it helps the ppl close to me medically.. Nobody in the right reasons grow game is never wrong in the ways they do shit..It's the way that should entertain your passion and make you happy....If it's not making anyone happy it may be time to ask yourself if this is something ya even really want to do

I posted that@BH, not hbz, you grow organically , you really don't have a choice with your scale 100 plus plants, I in the last month have been doing a controlled test with coast of Maine super soil, just to see difference in yield, speed of growth and pest attraction in a 2x4 tent. I refused to spray on both organic and non organic (synganic) plants. Already got bugs and threw out everything, except the tent, brought the tent outside to kill anything , it will stay outside for. winter. Needless to say in addition to bug magnets, the super soil wasn't cutting it growth speed wise. I'm not saying the coast ss is nearly as good as your program, I know it's not, but is quality super soil. Still used the same organic amendments and benes in both groups. This is why I stay clear of organics for indoor. The hard thing to do is get the speed and yield of non organic,with smell and taste of full organic, I know I have done that through extreme testing of products, environmental factors without the headaches, mess and considerable extra labor involved of full organic 150 plus flowering plants. Everyone's way is good if it works for them on what ever they want to accomplish with there personal time, finances , space, environment etc. Your not nuts, your just passionate about your way, and a little nuts

Lol no doubt @BH youre definitely a master of your craft..Your buds are the frostiest shit on the planet..Well at least what I've seen with my own eyes..It would take a novice grower YEARS to produce the stuff you're producing even with a detailed list of what your using..Even with a recipe only personal experience can work..You're expirence shows man that's for sure...I've seriously learned a ton off you. And organiclly I wouldnt like to ask anyone else for advice..Just the truth tho we ALL grow so different...And lots COMPLETELY off the radar different and all still bring .. This place and every other board available would be irrelevant and dead if we all are the same way..It would be nothing more than a chatroom trading strain names

Lol man if it makes you happy it matters..In this damn world if a guy collected piles of cat shit and it made him happy I just couldn't judge..well maybe a lil if it was a cat shit collection ..I'm just starting to collect walleye lures for trolling...Deep walleye Bandits and Flicker minnows #9. I have a guy painting me up some custom bandits right now. A few sets for daytime and nightime..Clear and murky water..None of that shit matters if the walleye are hot..Bastards are colorblind.. and only see shades of reds and oranges..I will never use all of em..But I like them and hey...They make me happy

Micronized sulfur foliar will nix the issue. You may need a rather potent formula. Iirc 9g sulfur per gallon og bubbled/ro h2o with 3 drops baby shampoo. Repeat every 3 days for a total of 4 foliars.

For me......I see mites and I trash the grow. I've tried to abate an existing grow prior and that is plenty of additional work. Just treating the plants to get too harvest keeps the mites alive. So, when shit goes sideways with bugs, I cut bait and start over. I feel that is the best use of my time/grow.
I've only ever had the 2 spot mites, never the broads. ymmv

I had a sm outbreak from a dirty clone in got. I must have tossed out $300+ in trays, scissors, etc over it. Easier to toss and know 100% there's no bugs hiding in aspot i didnt clean well enough.

I have 20# or so left if you need any.

I've beat two spot multiple times and super aphids once..Broads are a whole different animal...Wow are they relentless...I DEFINITELY agree with anyone saying save time and headache and start from scratch..I literally had to remodel the place..burnt old tents..Swam in bleach for days . I had one spot isolated with cuts and sprayed every damn day for two weeks with IPM..have a week break and still found a few mites..I chopped the plants back where full coverage was accomplished with ease and started spraying daily again... Lost some cuts that I surely didn't want to lose..BUT also saved a few..not a damn mite around as of now.. I'm so paranoid about it now I clean more than I ever have..I will not ever spray anything on a plant after flip...So I'm insane about making sure they are 100% clean at that time..The amount of weed I have is no importance to me... CLEAN trustworthy smoke for me and my close ppl is all I care about... Anything sprayed after flip regardless of what it is will never enter my asthmatic lungs nor the wife's or elderly parents and uncle..
