Foliar feeding who does it?

Was curious who here foliar feeds their plants and why. I recently had a soil lockout due to not watering to run off after up potting to more ffof. I had to flush heavily and for a minute the plants stopped drinking much water. Looked like early stages of mag or phosphorus deficiency. Assuming my hard water and hot soil locked the soil out. Everything seems fine now and the plants seem super happy again. During this time I was foliar feeding a solution with phosphorus and magnesium to address the issue quickly. Seemed to have worked as I am lined out again. So for me foliar feeding has a place. I know guys foliar feed stuff to prevent bugs and mold etc. So my question is who here foliar feeds and in what situation. Cheers!!

My plants love it. I use thrive alive every few days

I do. Everyday.
Nutrition is secondary.
I need the humidity bump, and also for pests. Mites prefer it hot and dry, and the physical agitation makes them miserable. Anything that ruins their day makes me happy.

The entire line, with the exception of humics, can be foliar fed.

When I mix up a batch to water the plants, I hold some back and dilute it , 10 or 20 : 1
( add 50-100 ml of nutrient solution to 1 L of water)
If the roots are getting veg solution, so are the leaves.

Both of those things can cause nitrogen deficiency and lockout P.
I also have hard water and soil with high ph. A fertilizer containing ammonium nitrate will make the water more palatable.
