Rules for Participation in the Contest
POST A SINGLE PHOTO (1 photo) to serve as your entry. The single photo will be your official entry to this month’s contest and cannot be swapped/changed for another after the fact. Any posts of more than one photo will not be considered for entry and not appear for voting in the final poll.​

Entry must be submitted by the last day of this month to qualify (July 31, 2025).

Last month’s prize winner will not be eligible to receive this month’s prize pack but the “Paparazzi” badge (win 3 POTM) is still available

Prizes for this month will be posted as soon as possible

Your photo must have been taken by you and any feature plant(s) therein grown by you

POTM VOTING
Instead of using a 1 reaction=1 vote system to decide the top three for the final poll, every photo will be featured in the final poll at the end of the month. The photo with the most votes at the conclusion of the poll will be the winner of the POTM Contest for that month and receive the prize (if eligible). Please feel free to like the photos as they are submitted throughout the month, just know that every photo will be featured in the final poll to decide the winner. This new POTM vote system will ensure an equitable voting timeframe, regardless of the entry upload day within the month.

Nice brother, I used mendo montage in a lot of crosses previously, very true purple strain, but also nice potency for a purp cultivar, which is not the case normally

I've noticed that too, I never like the purple plants much for smoking. To me they're better to look at. I'm always a bit disappointed when a plant goes purple right away. They're pretty though.

A good purple hits different, I have definetly burned through my fair shar of mediocre purples though. I can relate to having an eyebrow raised with early purple strains and hoping they aren't duds.

Thank you. I’ve been working with this cultivar for about 3 years now. It just keeps getting better and better every run.

I've had some outside GMO that would get much more purple after some cool September nights. They normally have some purple in
the indoor cuts, but I had a couple that went purple crazy grown outside. Super potent.

of the killer buds shots shown in these monthly contests, so I'll never even come close to winning one of these, I choose instead
to vote in them to show my support to those that do enter with their amazing photos. All of the talk of purple had me wanting
to share this. It's the 5th picture, the last one in my post there.

GC x Royal Gorilla herm - Day 104
This is the only one out of 12 of these, all female, that showed the cute little foxtails that mom kicked out in the final weeks.
Dense nuggs. Two bits of good news is that they were all fem and mom was a reg, so the fem trait from Royal Gorilla passed on
to the seeds. The other is none of them had any herm traits. Nothing but dense buds of gooey goodness.

The only time I surpassed 2 lbs in a 4x4 tent was when all 6 plants were in 10 gallon fabric pots and all of
them were GMO. Heavy dense buds. The average amount in my 4x4 after dozens and dozens of...

When I dissed the purple plants, I should've specified a little. Purple leafed plants I don't really consider true purple bud plants. I've had quite a few purple bud plants, not sure I really enjoyed smoking any of them. Plants with purple leaves and mostly green bud is a different story, lots of good smoke in that group. This plant ended up with dark purple bud almost black. Had a couple other of the same strain that weren’t purple and they smoked way better.
