Most growers here already have a nute recipe but...

So I came across this paper about finding the "proper" NPK ratio for cannabis in DWC (I use a mix of coco/hydroton/sunshine4)

I calculated the following recipe as something that gets very close to all 3 target amounts and it's what i've been using for probably a year by now?

12mL cutting edge solution micro
9mL GH bloom
1 g/gal of mag sulfate

one thing I have noticed since using this is that I don't get tip burn anymore (knocks on wood). at my elevation (9000ft ish), I would almost always get tip burn sometime during the grow. and I don't go above 1.2EC ever.

just putting it out here if anybody is bored with their current recipe or has issues with their recipe, feel free to try it.

happy Thanksgiving to all!

Thanks for sharing @rkymtnman Reminds me of the "Lucas Formula" but with a Mg addition (which in todays world of LED lighting is much needed). If this feeds as well in hydro as the Lucas then Im sure its a great formula that is also easy to make/use. Lucas has served me vey well over the years in many forms of hydroponics.

yep @HydroRed kinda similar to Lucas with just micro/grow. as you know, Lucas is 1:2 micro/bloom whereas this is 4:3 micro/bloom.

Feels like a Lucas recipe,also.
TBH,I prefer to tweak Gh 3parts formula from Veg to flower ( Micro bottles and Bloom bottles for more Cal/Mag/Potassium) based on hydrobuddy caculator.
The whole point of 3 part is being able to mix the 3 different parts at different ratios to get what you want out of it. Want more PK/Mg? Just up the bloom/grow. Need for Ca? Up the Micro. About the only thing not in 3 part is Si. This is where something like hydrobuddy will help you to dial in a feed schedule to hit the ratio's you want. The big thing with 3 part is not running GH schedule. It's a good baseline to get started but going off the schedule and messing with the ratios is where it really shines. There is a couple of alt schedules people have been using for a while. , 5-5-5, Mel’Franks、MJ growers, ect.
