Another "grow store" in my area has gone out of business.
There used to be four stores within 20 miles of my house. Now there's one -- and it's WAY overpriced.

I use Mills Nutrients, and it is not cost effective to order 10-liter jugs on Amazon. (Shipping isn't free... it's rolled into the price.)

Is anyone else having trouble finding supplies?

(Recreational cannabis has been legal in WA for 10 years.)
The best ones closed near me as well(Ohio). Both were mentioning their best selling items were soil and nutes which weren't money makers like lighting and other grow accessories. I still have one 25 minutes away but not as convenient.

Where is @Psychobilly. Things just aren't the same without you!
Sorry bro, we were out of town. We visited the Wife's cousin and just got back yesterday afternoon, and the long drive was taxing on the back. There's a good funny story though:

We took a train, and after we got there, big sign on the wall saying "Marijuana of any type, even legal, is not allowed". Me reading that with a zip lock bag with about 8 Dead Whabbits joints in it, in my jacket pocket, I didn't think much of it until the nose blind thing went away...

To say I could smell myself every time I moved in my seat is an understatement. Like so ridiculously easy to smell. Train was HOT... I started sweating Cheese funk lol. Didn't bring enough for that many days either lol. Ended up emptying a Vape full of Chem D Fire live rosin, and ate edibles the whole time. Drive back to a while (she drove us back) but on the way, we stopped at a gas station for bathroom and snacks, and I ended up finding my all time favorite beer.

I haven't seen this beer since moving back from Canada. Hacker Pschorr Weiss Bier. Blew my mind to see it. It was delicious.

I am currently catching up on my notifications, but for the previous conversation; my little town has 2 grow stores. There's more in larger areas, but here you can choose which one you like.

OK, I'm not quite as half asleep now.

I went from moving a really heavy mattress around, to us being on a train for HOURS before we finally got to where the next train was to pick us up. I managed to get the Dead Whabbits out of my pocket and into a purse without issue, though I'm now well aware of how awesome I smell in public. We left EARLY Saturday, and got back yesterday afternoon, hooked up the cousin with some good weed, and then I ended up waking up today with bad cramps and charlie horse stuff going on in both my calf muscles, and ankle, so I got up at about 3:50 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. I'm guessing it wasn't the best idea to go from spending hours on end in a train, to hiking, and doing stuff in another county, and then spending more hours on the way back, to get back to the house and do some more stuff. Probably should have like stretched or something.

I drank my energy drink and got my day started out though. After not being around for a few days I needed to come into town to help my Mom and Uncle, so currently I'm waiting for my Mom to be ready for me to dig some stuff out of her freezer for her for Easter Dinner.

I also need to clean the tent out, as it IS getting to be that time of year. No idea what exactly I'm going to run, other than the few I've already decided on. I'll get a list after I'm done with the tent cleaning though. I usually spray rubbing alcohol inside the tent to make sure it's cleaned up enough to not be infested, as I'm trying to keep my "haven't ever had spider mites" roll going. I get them outside of course, but my tent hasn't ever had them, and I'd really like to continue that tradition.

I need to dig through and finish sorting some seeds that aren't in my "seed bank" yet too. I'm ready to get some seeds popped. I've been nothing but impressed with what I ran this past season, so I'm looking forward to this next round. I may need to pop another Alpha Skunk Cheese seed, though I'd only have one left... I kind of should though, given that the bag is empty again. I'll refill that but the thought has occurred to me how useful that one has been for my idea of quitting smoking, and general love of the effects of that, so, onward I guess.

I'll look again and see what I'm going to actually run, as I have a lot of new Cheese to play with. I also need to pick this year's Chem cross, as I'm not sure which of those I'll use, but I need at least something. Decisions decisions.

I also now have another strain I'm interested in trying out from Red, which I do want to run as well. I haven't ever had a bad plant from him, and I'm kind of interested what Blooze Traveler has going on. Also it'd be funny to get some Bloo Cheese haha. If I find a male anyway. I might be new to this part of actual pollination, but I know enough not to accept whatever male I get, as I have goals I'd like to achieve (like not having plants hermie out because I got one male and it ended up being shit LOL), it's like the saying about "don't drink poison just because you're thirsty" I guess.

We're back now though, so I can start getting the tent ready, and cups, and....Shit we need soil too. OK, got a list to do, but seeds will be getting wet soon.

Does anyone else hate when people ask too many personal questions? I don't know if they're being nosey, trying to make conversation, or my people skills just suck. I'm a private person, I'll literally talk to anyone about anything (within boundaries) as long as it doesn't have to do with me or my life. Am I the only one or just a crazy person? Haha

What's a good way to deal with that without coming across rude? A lot if times I'll just go silent and the person will feel awkward and change the subject.

It depends on who they are and why they're asking.

Some people dig for dirt, while others actually give a shit...

Yeah I feel ya. I, however, am decently talkative and outgoing so to some extent, it doesn't bother me if people ask "where ya comin from/where ya headed?" type questions. BUT, try to dig into my history like "where ya from/what's your parents' names?" type shit, I'm like "nunya" 🛑😂

On that note

I LOOOOOOVE "dirt" 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 i used to have reliable resources for shit like office gossip; I knew which ppl spilled beans and I loved being a person they'd spill it to. But i NEVER, NEVER EVER EVER spread that dirt. I just collect it 😂💀
