I know bro the Struggle is real !
I just started my first pulling yesterday and though I always have at east some bud rot, it's not bad really. I started cutting off the top of my Blue Cheese X Blueberry Muffin, and then pulled like maybe 4 branches, and there was about 7 grams of wet weight bud rot I tossed in the bonfire pit, but that isn't really that bad. Dense Indica style buds + 100 % humidity seems to be worse at times than rain. I thought about this the other day actually; I had a strain called "Hawaiian Sunshine" that seems to lean REALLY heavy on the Sativa side (takes forever to finish and got huge and kept growing after flower started) and it didn't really get rained on since it was in the greenhouse with the top on it, but that plant, I lost entire branches to bud rot, as the humidity levels here in late Summer early Fall are high with almost no wind at night. I feel like humidity and no wind can do a lot of damage even more than rain at times, at least with what I experienced last season. I had multiple plants that were Indica leaners out there with big bulky bud structure, that were in the rain, and they didn't have nearly as much mold as the Sativa leaner in the greenhouse which got me thinking about this.
The Wife and I went in the garden yesterday with a little plug into the phone microscope thing (Technical term LOL) and started looking at some plants. We pulled 4 racks of the one I mentioned, and then saw that the Gelato #33 seedling is nice and milky white, so we're pulling a few branches off her, and the Skywalker Seedling and one clone of her are also about ready, and so is Squirt oddly enough...
What really made my day other than he Blue Cheese cross that we started pulling being beautiful, is that one of the Chem D clones already has milky white pearls of resin and should be ready soon
