Hyshield - a source of Chitosan

Zeroes and Ones
Chitosan acts as a biostimulant for plants by tricking the plant into thinking it’s under attack by a fungus because all fungi use chitin in their cell walls. Using chitosan in conjunction with a product that contains silica will induce systemic resistance to fungal infection.

Hyshield is an inexpensive source of chitosan oligosaccharide, it’s a viscous odorless clear liquid held in suspension by a weak acid.

Not sure where to get hyshield, but I did grab a bucket of Gaia Green frass for about $18 and did a top dress, so thanks to both of you for putting the product on my radar.
