Maybe flip a clone immediately after it roots?

Absolutely not a bad plan but it seems there is not much interest in growing this repro out because of the intersex issue with the one male. At this point it's a selection but honestly if I can't figure a way to cut back on the flower time I'd have real real hard time justifying keeping it in the rotation or seed poping line up. Someone in a warmer climate tho... happy to send snips.

Week 6

No. 1 was the first to show positive female and looks a little ahead of the others. No. 6 looks like it's carrying the most seeds and No. 3 has the most nose on stem rub, very fruity.

The clones were switched to 10 on 8 off on 4/18, makes today day 3 irl day 4.25 of life on a different planet for them. They are dark right now but I do seem think there are more preflowers already, so I may need to go with more on time to keep them in veg if I want to.

The clones have started paring down to single blade leaves and it feels like the beginning of stretch. Honestly not sure if this started when they were under 14/10 but I wouldn't think so because they have held in veg for a bit.


Looking at the numbers 14/10 is a 1.4:1 ratio, 10:8 is 1.25:1 the tent is on 11/13 which is 0.846:1. I switched the clones to 9/9 during this current light period, it will still be roughly a 10 hour light period. I will roll it back to 8.25/9.75 in about another week or so, then a week or so after that I want to switch the tent to the same schedule and move the clones in.

Week 7 update
We got buds.

We got beans.

Plucked one and it passed the pinch test. Some funky things went down on the clones so I cut them back, switching the tent is on hold for now.

I'm not sure if they were starting to flower under 14/10 and I wasn't noticing it or what? After 11 days irl things look like they are stabilizing into a vegetative state on 9/9.

They were doing 5 finger leaves

Now on 3 finger

This male went down to 1 then back to 3

Gave 'em a haircut. For flowering it looks like there is a dark threshold vs. being strictly ratio dependent. This isn't much of a surprise I guess. I'll let them sit at 9/9 here for a bit before switching to 8/10.
