Tent repairs.

My Apollo 3 x 3 tent is getting a janky zipper after 5 years. I think some Velcro and a hot glue gun might do the trick. It is the best tent I've got, way heavier than the rest of mine! I'd love some insight from anyone who has fixed this problem. Thanx. (y)

Good one, I'll look into that clasp. I've kept her going with bar soap and paraffin, but it's not going to last much longer. I will drape a tarp over the front until that tent is finished flowering, and then I will attempt some type of repair!

I’m seriously considering framing in a doorway on my 4x4 with 2 x 2? and hang a cheap hollow core door.
Just make sure when doing diy tents/grow rooms to use greenhouse/grow room plastic , why ? = grow plastic/greenhouse plastic the water won’t retain and they are waterproof like panada film and similiar . 10+ years ago I did my flower room v1 in all framed board + hardware store black plastic = it made outside aka Lung room high rh and promote moldy zone… it’s not like price is worth skipping getting grow grade

Here is my solution, thanks for all the insight! I glued a piece of panda film to a 1x4 at the top and bottom, I glued a few Velcro strips along the way down the tent and on the new panda door to match up. I set 1 of the glued 1x4's on the top of the tent, and I roll up the 1x4 at the bottom enough to put downward tension on the film. Just need to be sensitive with the Velcro/ panda film contacts.
