As we all are when we are first beginning to learn. Don’t be afraid to ask questions here, but I personally encourage you to utilize something like this chart to familiarize yourself with potential problems so you can catch deficiencies earlier and avoid getting so far behind. Exactly this.
We used to have a resources section with charts like this, Mulder's nutrient antagonism, etc. but I can't seem to find it @Deebs ?

You can find a bunch on the web but double and triple check some wierd shit will get through and AI isn't helping that.

@UrbanHillbilly look at your nutes, do you see any manganese? If yes is your pH above 6? Make it like a flow chart plant looks like blah so blah blah and blah could be issues. Deficiencies are easier than toxicity to figure out imo but often a toxicity can be fixed just by cutting ppm and not messing with the ratios.

To be clear - don't worry one bit about what those water leaves look like now only if it progresses into the buds would I worry at all and at that point your close enough to harvest there's nothing to do.

I flipped the photo plant, OG Kush x Banana OG F3, to flower tonight. a couple weeks later than originally planned. Oh well. A few minutes after I set the timer I realized I forgot one detail, that I meant to take a few clones first. Is there any problem with cutting for clones a day or two after going to 12/12?

FWIW, I have a Clone King aeroponic cloner and plan on using Clonex and distilled water. Is that sufficient? I'm thinking of using the distilled water to minimize problems with clogging the nozzles.

Yes. Take em without issue. I've taken clones weeks into flower and saved stuff.

Going by the calendar it's time, but obviously that's not the metric to go by. Here's a few shots of where she stands tonight. I'm concerned/curious about the one in the first pic that's showing darker brown, not just amber, while most of the plant the trichomes seem milky.

In fact my wife who took these (she has a steadier hand) says she sees less amber today than she did several days ago. Does that make an sense?

Just trying to figure out how close we're getting with this one.

I totally know the feeling of fighting the urge to harvest early but I would personally let her keep goin. When learning this portion of growing you might find yourself "looking for ambers" (and finding them on sugar leaves and top flower sites) instead of looking for some of those harder to find, deeper in the bud areas. I tend to "search for clear tricomes". When it gets difficult to find them, I start my harvest. Always nice to make it to the finish line though! Good work man!

Thanks. Do you have any idea what's going on with the dark trichomes in the first pic? It's like they're heading towards black.

He will probably start dropping some pollen soon

Yeah. This is the first node check I've done in a several days, I've been tied up with a wife who is having some significant trouble. This is the one that others thought was likely a female and it's pretty disappointing to see the nodes today. I'd been about to cut clones from this one.
