Akbb and Humboldt CSI indoor grow

Wanted to share what I have going on currently. So I started another indoor grow with some Ak bean brain seeds and a couple Csi humboldt fems. I'm six weeks into my veg and most of the Akbb have been gender identified. Of course there is always the few >10% that want to be complicated. The 89 Nl is being decieving. I find it odd that the one 89NL is the nicest most uniform and vigorous of the lot, yet has zero identity parts. I'm getting a little bummed out cause im 0-4 thus far for fems with the NL seeds and wanna see how they turnout. I'm already a bit overgrown again at 6 weeks with a 4x4 tent but otherwise everything is looking good. I've got 2 blue blood super skunk fems, 3 907 blue gene fems, and 2 of Csi's "guilty pleasures" going. Started with 12 beans and had a 100%+ germination, got a 2for1 on the 907. Anyhow out of the 4 NL seeds I'm still waiting on 2 to reveal, seems a bit odd that they are holding out this long after all the others. I've strained my eyes enough looking them over with yet nothing to see. The csi plants have some of the largest fan leaves I've ever had on an indoor plant. Gonna trim, clone, then flip in the next day or two.

Yeah, waiting on plants to show sex can be frustrating. I think about 7 weeks of veg (don't recall if I began counting days of veg after the "seedling" stage) was about the longest I had to wait to see the sex of the plant,; this was some years back and I forget what strain it was.

I had a Mango Biche this run that didn't show until a couple weeks after being flipped, on 10/14 light cycle. Ended up being Male!

Any good stem rubs on the 907 BGs? I can't wait to see how those turn out for ya

Nothing pronounced yet, I did get a slight blueberry stem rub smell from a male a few weeks ago. The oder comes across very subtle after the chlorophyll oder disapates. These stem rub odors keep evolving. I have 2 907 males and 3 females, from past positive reports I'm hopeful to find something going on within the 5. Ill be growing out the males and cloning everything as well. If I Don't find the blueberry mark I'll keep searching through more seed packs. Akbb Vintage BB, blueberry cream, Lemon Hoko BB #9, Second gen genetics farmers fire. I'm determined to find something decent, it's just a mater of time.

That would drive me crazy waiting that long for plant sex ID. With only a 2x2 for veg, my space is very limited so I always pony-up for the Farmer Freeman tests. I've gotten results as quick as day 16 from seed, but usually around days 20-25, still pretty good. Basically I get them sexed while still in solo cups 👍

GORGEOUS plants. Fingers crossed for you getting some AKBB females 🤞

It's been about 7 days now at 12/12 and the last 2 outta 4 akbb 89 NL plants are still trying to hide their reproductive parts. I'm betting they are most likely males. I am getting some various blueberry odors coming off of the five 907's. They are different on multiple parts of the plant, the one nice male has a definite spot on artificial sweet blueberry smell from a petiole rub. I'll post more photos once they are stretched out and have some buds forming.

Trimmed them all up underneath again and took a few fan leaves to let the light in. Here's a fan leaf and a few 2 week bud pictures of the guilty pleasures strain by CSI, kinda surprised that they are both showing purple this early. All four of my NL plants turned out to be males. The 907's are still evolving with different smells, I am getting hints of blueberry from the 3 females.

In early week 5 now, the room smells fruity.
Definitely getting various blueberry from the three 907 phenos. The guilty pleasures has greasy tricombs and smells awesome, it's a strong natural/artificial concord grape smell. The two blue blood super skunk's are definitely different from each other. The kush, blueberry, and funk come through on them in varying levels. I fed them a little mid week today, to me they seem to be yellowing a little early.

Im about all wrapped up on this one, I've cut down all but 2 1/2 plants that I'll let go a little longer. Oddly enough at this point after processing for drying, the BB SS along with the GP seem to have more interesting terpene profiles then the 907 BG plants. I trimmed up one of the 907s that did have an interesting odor profile, but I believe it locked out midway through flowering and didn't produce well in the end. The other one and a half 907s is slightly mutated with two big main colas and seems to have a more defined blueberry odor. All in all the Blue blood super skunk is looking and smelling awesome, unlike anything ive ever come across. The two BBSS phenos were completely different on growth and odor profile. One is almost a methol with a slight fruit odor, and the other is more of a nutty fruit odor. For sure hard to describe accurately, but non the less very pleasant. The mendo purps coming through on the GP plants are very nice as well. I haven't sampled anything yet, I like to get multiple smoke reports before concluding though.

Front is the BBSS, Back is the 241 seeded 907 BG. I purposely starved them all in the last few weeks, so they're limping along.

The last pictures posted were of the second pheno of bbss, terp profile was more intriguing on this one, nutty/fruity. It also had great plant and bud structure, I didn't top any plants on this grow.
Sampled the GP and a little of a single 907 pheno. A few other people I gave small samples of the GP really liked it and definately want more. The GP is a very tasty variety that stays on the palate for awhile, kind of a dank herbal spice slightly grape sweet. The high is great also, it's got decent potency and a good relaxing happy warm hybrid broadleaf leaning high. It's not fully cured yet and I haven't had but a few sessions with it. Shared a joint of the 907 with a friend after plenty of beers one night. From my recollection it was tasty all the way to the end and left a very sweet taste in the mouth all the way through. It also wasn't fully cured and still not fully dried, had to relight it a few times. As far as the effects of the 907 joint, I can't make a good opinion due to the multiple beers and all the other stash sampling involved that evening. Lol it didn't green me out and seemed to have a good effect. I usually like to sample cured buds with a good herb vaporizer to get full flavors at all varying temps initially.
