Looking back through some old grows I realized 5yrs ago this weekend I did my first ever controlled grow (I’d always done the plant it and check it at harvest time outdoors cause my area is known for ppl getting busted) that ended terribly lol. Then 4yrs ago today I got my first real grow tent and set up. And my growing took off.
I some how found this site just by mistake searching the word PhenoHunting because I was researching like a mad man for hours and hours a day on anything and everything cannabis. This site completely changed the game for me. I had an unlimited bank of knowledge from growers at every stage. So here’s a little look from my first plant ever grown indoors to what I have going now.
Above is my first plant I ever grew indoors and the seeds were purchased on DCseedexchange. Little did I know I’d end up meeting the breeder on this site

@Amos Otis and I think S1d by CobNut if Im remembering correctly. I grew that plant in some BS soil I got from a store and fed it General Hydroponics 3part.
Below is my current 2x2 tent. I do everything in a 2x2 or seasonally outdoor now with the space constrictions. But here is my over grown jungle of dangly stanky goodness! I’ve got 3x plants and 2x separate strains in here. All being fed House and Garden 2part coco blend.

Both plants above have a very strong sweetness to them but also this chemmy/skunky funk I can’t quite put a name to.

This one smell like pure children’s vitamins and has trichome the whole way to the tips of the fans. I’m expecting great things from this girl. Maybe my first reveg worth girl. I’ve tried in the past but i always had more beans. I don’t got anymore of these so if I love her she might get a spot outside till I can take a clone or two.
I can’t believe it’s been half a decade I’ve been growing now with only a few unplanned breaks here and there. I’ve grown a field at a buddies and multiple outdoor plants at various spots I’ve found but my indoor grows are my prize possessions. My green or purple babies I get to tuck in every night. And tbh without this site I’d of probably given up. The generosity and overall brotherhood here is just amazing. It always keeps me coming back and checking in on my mentors. Even if you didn’t know it most of you who’ve been here since the early days have been vital to my growth. It might not be much but being able to save a few buck, smoke some of the best flower on the market and getting to try creations from other like minded individuals is just awesome in my eyes.
