Hello everyone. New member, new grower.

It’s been about 1 year since I starting using cannabis after a 12 year break. I quit when I joined the military in 2013, after that, as a civilian I was subject to hair follicle testing until 2025 when CA passed AB2188. I’d like to build a collection of older strains, while also building a collection of strains specifically to make cold cure rosin. I’m starting off with a AC infinity 5x5 tent paired with a 650w HLG tomahawk. My tent setup isn’t final, Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Still collecting supplies before I germinate some seeds I have. Excited to start a new hobby

Not just yet. I’m going to trend the temperature in my garage where my tent is for a few days while I get the rest of the supplies I need then have my brother come over and walk me through the starting process and finalize the setup on my tent. Any tips on starting?

Most of us have grow journals. Posting pics makes things easier to diagnose and mine serves a memory aide so I can look back at my past endeavors.

Yes - purchase a 'how to grow marijuana indoors' book - Amazon has several good ones that cover every aspect from set up to harvest. Advice is great, but having all the info you need at your fingertips at a moments' notice is priceless. That said ...

Currently learning a lot. I plan on using aurora innovations 707 formula soil to start. I am planning to document the each step to help my future self with a journal and pictures.

I'm a newer grower and the journals are very helpful. It's nice to be able to go back and look at mistakes that were made and things you did right....

Yes a member did give me the seeds and then told me about the forum. My goal is to have a collection of strains so I can help out people the same way in the future.
