Lack of response from Davinci

About 2 years ago I bought a Davinci IQ2 vape. It was a little expensive (though definitely not the most expensive), but I figured buy once, cry once, so I invested in what appeared to be a good one. One of the big draws for me was a 10 year warranty. I had to use it once about a year ago when it wouldn't turn on, but that went pretty smooth. I called, got authorization to return it, and had it back in 2 weeks. No worries.

A couple of weeks ago it stopped working again. Annoying, but I figured it wasn't a big deal since I was still covered under warranty. I tried calling and this time they had a voicemail saying that they had gone fully online for customer service. OK, so I completed their online form for warranty service. A week later still no response, so last weekend I sent them an email. Again, no response. And I can't find a way to reach them on the phone. What good is a warranty if they simply refuse to respond?

Until now, I've practically been a Davinci evangelist. I've been pretty happy with the vape and have recommended it to several people. That has now turned sour. There's no excuse for them not responding even two weeks later. Yeah 4/20 wasn't long ago, but they didn't even have an auto-response and should have at least shown signs that they have live people at the company by now. Not long after I bought my IQ2, Greenlane bought Davinci and I suspect that's what I have to blame for the severe drop in customer service. And when I search for people having trouble with Davinci warranties, I see enough other people griping that I'm concerned whether or not they'll ever respond. I used this thing daily and depend on it. Yeah my better half has a cheaper Davinci Miqro I bought her a couple of months after mine when I saw a good deal at a dispensary, but I'd really like to get mine going again.

Ultimately I'd like to save up for a different model, right now I'm looking at the S&B Venty. The only problems I've found with them are from the very early ones they shipped. Again, it's not cheap, but S&B has a strong reputation, in spite of the fact they are listed as a "Partner" of Greenlane (separate from the brands they own like Davinci).

I'm just ranting, I needed to get this off my chest.

I have a dynavap m with a stainless cap which holds heat longer. They aren't that expensive and are all metal so they really can't break. You can store them in a preroll case and just use a cigar lighter or even a bic. Not as good flavor and extraction as the arizer solo, but it never needs a charge, lasts forever because you can just carry butane. I think I paid 80 or something and 30 for the cap upgrade.

I have a Dynavap i got at a local head shop for just $35. It does fairly well, but these days I'm using my Vapor Brothers VB 1.5.

Thanks for the prompting,
Is there more than 1 # @UrbanHillbilly ?
I called the number to validate, and was transferred to CS when i prompted.....try the # above if it's different...
I made the call today. Great news, they aren't owned by Greenlane anymore! That's great news, they were bought out just weeks after I first bought my !Q2! I have sent this thing in twice. First time, no problem. Fast turnaround and it worked well. Second time was a different experience. You had to reach them online, only a recording on the phone. No response so I tried again. Then I got the place I bought it from to lean on them. Still problems, so I got another place authorized to sell them who I've done other business with. Finally, something got through but when I eventually got it back a few weeks later it barely worked at all. Within a very short time it wouldn't turn on with any battery and I just left it gathering dust in the cabinet.

Even with them back to giving decent customer service I'm not sure I'll but another Davinci. I got this thing with a 10 year warranty and here 5 years after I bought it I'm sending it in for the third time. Of course I probably shouldn't count the second time now that Greenlane is out of the picture, so we'll see.
