Man it might be, I'll run it past the old lady tonight and see if she thinks halls. She's got the nose, mines good, but all burnt up from bondo dust and drugs in my youth.
Ludens could be a possible profile too LOL.

It is wild! My girl is blowing my mind with the different smelling sages she has. I think she also has like 15 different mint plants. I love plants that have terpene variations and also plants that make trichomesIt's so weird how a plant can have so many different smells isn't it ? I don't think I've ever smelled tomatoes that have a super odd smell no matter how many plants I sniff, and yet a Cannabis plant can just smell like everything from sweet, or savory food, to things you'd think were spoiled LOL.

I have seen those hooks usually for live bait etc. I probably could have used one a little bit ago, because I just lost a football size smallie trying to get it into the net while fishing from the middle of the low head dam. It's really slippery and I just couldn't do it. She spit the hook right as I swung the net at her.Have you ever tried a Circle Hook? It's harder to lose a fish since you just Reel down and don't have to say the hook.
That's a chunk dude! Beauty! They are strong as hell, and smart, too. I'm getting out tomorrow.Missed a couple nice smallies top water yesterday. Came back this afternoon armed with my trusty big joshy swimbait. Got my first smallie on the board, these things fight so damn hard. It’s a rush trying to keep them on the line

They def are strong as hell, and smart. Super aggressive too I've noticed. I caught a tiny one on that same swim bait, must have been half it's size. That's a chunk dude! Beauty! They are strong as hell, and smart, too. I'm getting out tomorrow.
Those ball head jigs need a straight shank, Billy, or the bait doesn't look right.

My river spot is on fire right now. I caught 2, put hooks in a nice one, and had a really big one swipe and miss. Not bad for only spending an hour or so.
Don't circle hooks take the fun out of it I mean setting the hook is my favorite part...A good spoon or anything else where the hook is attached by a ring can be useful with a circle hook; when the fish hits just reel down and it'll set
I be a hook setting mofo that's for sure.Don't circle hooks take the fun out of it I mean setting the hook is my favorite part...

The main thing with circle hooks is that they don't get taken deeply nearly as much as traditional shaped hooks. I will use them to replace trebles on spoons and spinners if I'm CnRing. I'll still set the hook, but it's usually sinking into the corner of the mouth rather than ending up in the gills or stapling their mouths shut. I use more of a strong sweeping motion than a violent 'yank'.I be a hook setting mofo that's for sure.
I've used the circles for catfishing with cut bait. I do add a trailer hook to all my spinners though, that has helped my hookup percentage a ton. For still-fishing, it's a lot easier to be patient with circle hooks when your rod tip is barely twitching and you can't tell if the fish has reached steel or just nibbling at the bait. I found my hookup percentage increased after switching a decade or more ago..
