Like I said bro this is literally my fourth year growing ever, and I do put in some effort to reading, but I also don't let sounding stupid stop me from asking what might very well be an idiotic question. I'd rather look stupid here, than be stupid in general.
I also haven't ever crossed any strains so I wouldn't let that bother you either; The members of this site are brilliant Breeders / Chuckers / cross makers / Pollen Bukakists (I'm not exactly sure what they prefer to be called so sometimes I just make shit up to be honest) but if you wanted to start attempting your first time crossing two strains, you're in a place with a world of help already. My OCD makes me paranoid in terms of getting pollen loose somewhere on my clothes, or my hair, and then ruining my outdoor crop, and before recently the only tents were outside and currently have no power out there, but the one we got this year is small enough to fit in the bedroom, and come Winter when the Catfish aren't trying to bite and I'm not trying to freeze to death to see if they will, I may have to try LOL. It's only like 3 feet tall but I could literally just "speed run" that; Start the seeds right from 12/12 light cycle, which would make finding if they're male or female a lot quicker, and then decide which ones I want to actually keep and use.
I had no idea what I was doing when I started my first year....Thank God Blue Cheese is easy to grow LOL! Cloning isn't something every person memorized from day 1 either; Don't let it stop you even when the first few attempts die off and don't seem to want to root, and you're standing there looking at another batch of clones not working out and thinking how a Molotov cocktail would make you feel SO much better, LOL. Eventually you get it right, and then you can pull clones off plants you really like and it works out
Don't be discouraged and don't be scared to ask someone here questions and you'll be surprised how far you came so quickly.

I feel you, man. I'm excited to be here! I'm not nervous or discouraged at all, I grow some pretty alright weed, I think! I guess the vibe I'm putting out is like if I play golf, and I get pretty good and I'm breaking 80 on the regs; but then I go to a PGA event, and am reminded of the enormous talent chasm between me and them. That's what seeing these impressive grow threads is like. Doesn't make my weed any worse, it's still pretty good, but there's so much room to grow. I'm lucky to have wandered in here - I've been doing this completely in a vacuum. OK, I'm high now...

I know what you mean I can grow what I feel is good weed, and I've had a friend's Fiance ask which dispensary she got it from, and I've also had people saying how much they smoke and that they've never been blown out like they were after smoking something I did outdoor. And at that same time knowing full well how much more I have to learn yet, and keeping that in mind so I don't act like a jerk LOL. I can grow just fine, and each year I've grown the size of my buds has gotten bigger. I like to grow, and experiment with how to grow certain strains.
LOL last year I grew a plant sideways; I cut all the branches facing the dirt right off and used fiberglass sticks to hold the top down so it went sideways across the greenhouse. Interesting to do but it grew so many branches.... LOL.

Well, things are getting crowded a bit now. Still waiting for them to show their sex so I can get them repotted in 3 gal. bags and flip to flower. Took my first ever attempts at clones today - we'll see. And I think both 80s Black Afghans are girls, but it's early for me, as it's only my second run with Regs. Bein' a greenhorn ain't easy.

No, I haven't. They're starting to smell a bit now, but I guess I'm more of a gourmand than a gourmet, so.....
I haven't either, as Afghani stuff isn't always around these parts, but I do have my first Tashkurgan out now
And I get what you mean; If you take me to a super high end place to eat, I'm probably gonna order Bourbon and not food because I can't stop myself getting annoyed very well when someone wants 45 dollars for a Cheese Burger. But you take my ass to Popeye's.... People behind the counter are gonna be disgusted by my life choices pretty quick LOL.

Definitely starting to reek in the tent and closet now. Picked up an inexpensive 1200W kicker for the tent @ 25 bucks on the big A. Should help a lot with the flowering. Having trouble sexing some of these in the tent - prolly just nervous 'coz I normally run fems. They'll show. Closet is all fems now. Have to say, of all the plants I have, @Schwaggy P 's 80's Black Afghans are by far the most vigorous. Thank you again, man. ✌️

Everyone has shown themselves, and 8 males just bit the dust. Final lineup: (2) Tony Green's Sowah Grapefruit, (2) Antenna Banana Haze, (2) Antenna Purple Laserlite 3, (2) @Schwaggy P 80's Black Afghans, (2) Canuk Blue Dream, (1) TH Seeds SAGE, (1) Prism Bruce Banner x Chocolope, (1) Prism Alien Technology, (1) Delicious Seeds Fruity Chronic Juice, and (1) Bad Dawg (?) GG4 x Sunshine 4. For my second time running Regs, I did OK - only missed out on SFV x Bye Ya, both of which were both males. Not such a bad buffet to get me through until next grow. I took a shitbox full of clones, but I've never done them, either, so I guess I'll wait and see on that front (3 or 4 appear to be rooting so far). I was sweating sexing the plants for no reason... it was very clear who was who and what was what this morning. Everyone is now in 3 gallon bags and ready for the stretch.

Got everyone tied down, trimmed up, and in the slot... What do I do now, while I wait for the weight? Pop more beans, of course! I've only grown once a year for 10 years, but this place has me jazzed to try and do more. @Amos Otis and @HOGBACKMAGIC14 sure came through for me (Thanks again dudes), and I want to try some of their fire - and I don't wanna wait to do it! Drowned some Apollonia XX and Banana Cough from @Amos Otis and some LSD and Mountain Berries from @HOGBACKMAGIC14 , as well as some Tony Green Gorilla Bubble BX5 S1 and Bad Dawg Valley Ghash x Long Bottom Fighter. Be my first attempt at running different grows simultaneously - so stick around and it'll prolly get pretty funny watching me try and handle 3x the grow I've done before!

Nice I’ve grown one of schwaggy Afghan don’t know which one but fire ? Bad Dawgs stuff to cake fighter x wedding cake ?.I ran cake fighter wedding for years I grew the sfv x ? From bad dawg outdoors and had a great lemon scent . Some of my pics are up for his freebies that company is great ?? Looks great though

I have one of these Feit bulbs that I found laying around - is this enough for a small batch of clones, or do I need more oomph? T5's maybe?
All my new seeds are above ground now, except for the Bad Dawg freebies - only 1 of 4 even popped. I put the 3 un-popped malcontents in a gallon pot of soil to try and see if they will ever want to play. The one that did pop, the tail looks a little thin and wonky, but it's above ground. We'll see....
