Any Buckeyes down for lunch and a smoke this weekend?! 🤔
It's easy to forget how huge this continent is.
I was going to make a smart ass comment that you should drive a few extra hours and come ice fishing, so I pulled up a map to see how many hours that would be.

It's over 3000km from Cleveland, Columbus or Cinci to Edmonton.

Hey , quick question. Do Americans still need a passport to drive into Canada 🇨🇦 🤔?

And the Americans are the ones who never see a globe? ;) lol, you have to admit though; Canadian Provinces, and American States, are generally larger than countries in Europe. Why do you think I'm not knocking on your Igloo's door asking to sniff that Skunk myself already?

Awesome sauce, I have that. Maybe a trip north this year then!
I was going to point out, that if you cross from here, that's all I've ever needed. Unless you count when I was a teen, when even that wasn't required. You could see Ontario from my bedroom window where I grew up, and you see Canadian and Michigan plates on cars on the regular here.

So if you decide to cross here, even with how far east we are compared to Amarok, I've got some stuff I'd love to have you sniff lol.

They call themselves public servants. That lying statement right there is enough for me to disregard everything they say and do. F'em and their rules. Life is too damn short to play by their rules. I try my best to not step on anyone and that's enough for me.

Sorry, rant over.

Two steps forward, one step back, eh?

In MA they allow 6 plants per person, or 12 if it's a two person dwelling - that's on the recreational side.. On the medical side I believe they allow you to have more wiggle room on the plant count, but don't quote me on that lol.

Love that I can walk around with weed and not get harassed by the 5 O. I was growing long before it was legal, never indoors though, they really watched electricity usage back in the day. One dude I know had a visit because he bought his wife a kiln for firing her pottery. So that's another great thing about legalization, they're not visiting high electricity users.

I've never been big on rules, I figure that if I'm not causing anyone any problems, I'm not doing anything wrong. Most rules are just a means for them to get into your pocket. I don't need them to keep me safe either so there goes another swath of rules out the window.

I do fear what will happen when the Feds stick their noses into it. I can totally see them outlawing home grow without licensing and so forth. More rules I'll have to ignore.

LOL you know, I never heard of that before. Now I can't help but wonder how many people had someone show up because they were into Computers back in the day, and used larger machines, and how many people in the "Monster Fish Keeper" community had someone showing up because they had a 12,000 gallon pond in their home with massive fish in it hahaha.

Who would come visit for this stuff? Man I still get hung up on that visiting shit LOL. If I'd been a Millionaire my DTE bill would be higher than Snoop Dogg from all my indoor pools and ponds full of Catfish.

I think Michigan has it fairly well done thus far; From everything I've seen and read, they don't seem to care at all unless you're selling it without paying for taxes and whatnot. Seems like as long as you don't sell it, they don't really care how many plants you have going.

Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement or S.A.N.E. Back in the Day they were out of control. I was busted once and they tried getting me to be a snitch, told them to fuck off. Did my jail time and was done with it. They had something worked out with the electric company, choppers and planes flying all over, absolutely ridiculous. Now that they don't bother with mj any more I never hear about any busts, like they don't care about all the meth, heroin and fentanyl around.

Yeah, Michigan isn't so bad anymore, they aren't out there looking so much. But I'm sure if for some reason they had to come into my home they'd get me for not following their rules even though I'm not hurting a soul nor selling it.

Damn bro. The horror stories I've heard just from members here.... You know the kind of stuff I like to grow, can you imagine me trying to run that back in those days ?? Shit... I'm glad we finally got heads out of asses on this one.

I actually did do ONE grow of plants, where I knew it wasn't legal; It's super easy to go into a grocery store, and get Poppy seeds, and the only ones they sell are "Persian Blue", which is one of the Papaver Somniferum species of Poppy. I didn't have a clue WTF I was doing honestly, but I managed to make it work enough. Looking back it was really stupid though, as they aren't "cool with it" when it comes to those.

I've always admired the beauty of the poppies. I came close to attempting to grow some but never did. Now I don't really have the desire to, that type of high is best for me to just leave alone. It's just too good and way too controlling.

I would like to grow them just to admire them though, so gorgeous.

I know what you mean bro; The smell alone...... *whew* it's one of the most beautiful smelling flowers I've ever smelled. And the flower petals, are like silk... I used to have a petal from one of the plants I had kept, but eventually it was gone. I mean, it's not like there's a drug in the petals, as all the Opium itself is in the seed pod when the petals fall off, but having it around wasn't a smart idea just, in general, because these days, you can get in trouble just for having the dried stuff that people used to use for dry flower arrangements. Which is.... Honestly stupid in my opinion... I can drive over a bridge right now, and buy some Codeine over the counter in Canada, and if I wanted to "fuck around and find out" I could then add some peroxide to that, and have Oxy. I don't trust my skills enough to try it, and don't need Oxy anymore, and wouldn't risk my family like that though. Like at all. I was young when I grew them out, and I still love the way they look and smell, but like you quite rightly said, it's not worth it.

Right on Bullfrog couldn't have said it better myself. Many, many times in these later years of my life, as I light up I think back on the earlier years, on the war on drugs declared by a hag named Nancy and her senile sock puppet. And I think well you sonsabitches made war on drugs, drugs are still here, and you are in your graves. I declared war on sobriety, I've been as high as I wanted most days all these years, and even though I'm headed for a grave at some point, I'm still here so the W goes to Sternn. :D

That's the spirit of a free man right there, something I hold in high regards.

We're all headed for the grave someday, why not try to enjoy ourselves to the best of our abilities.
