In Bloom
I say fingers crossed because this is only my second grow ever and my first one was largely a disaster, thanks to yours truly. Left in veg for months longer than expected due to outside factors, and completely blanked on a male that was in the tent. Yeah we still got a small harvest and we're enjoying still, but the buds were seed bombs. Ah well, hopefully at least learned a lesson or two along the way.
This time around I'm growing a couple of Ogre Kush x Banana OG F3 crosses and a Candyfloss auto. I had a couple other sprouts of the OK x B F3 seeds, but they didn't thrive. Older seeds and I think they weren't really mature enough. At the least, the Candyfloss should hopefully make a good run of it and if my luck turns south, I'll toss another auto seed in there. The Candyfloss (the genetics from Copenhagen Seed Company) advertises 70-75 days from seed to harvest and I gotta say, I'm impressed so far.
The Candyfloss is on the left and today is exactly one month since I put the seed in water. Little bugger is really taking off and making me proud. I have these in a little 2x2 tent (the others will be moved soon to a 3x3 tent) and I don't have a carbon filter, so the aroma is getting around the house pretty noticeably in recent days. I picked the Candyfloss in part because the tent is only 4' high and this auto is crossed with LowRyder so it should fit even at full maturity. IIRC listing said it's typically 100-120 cm tall, with up to 28% THC. Seems high for an auto and I'm not holding my breath, but I'll take what it give me. I don't plan on testing it anyway.
I posted a few days ago about the tri-color variegation on a leaf, that's on the smaller plant, front right. It's about time to transplant that one within a few days.
