Another Candyfloss auto chopped today. I swear, I need to get better at gauging when to make the cut. Two days ago I inspected the trichomes and seemed to see some clear, but still some milky stuff and decided to wait. Yesterday I didn't make it upstairs to check on them, so my bad on that slip, but tonight I went up and I swear, it's like they suddenly decided to turn amber, at least a bunch of them. Still trying to get a handle on this. These are billed as 75 days from seed to harvest and I chopped on day 77. Last time it was a closer to 85 before the trichomes got to this color, and I missed what I would consider the sweet spot by a day or so then.
I still have one photoperiod plant in the other tent in veg. It's still short enough I feel like I should let her grow a little bigger before I flip to flower, Plenty of space left to grow. If she doubled in height at this point in flower, I feel like I'd still be leaving too much potential on the table. I'd also like her to grow a bit more before I do a little cutting for a few clones.
