Hochul bans AZAMAX

I have always been a big fan of AZAMAX. i am a bit of an over waterer. i started in coco and never had a need for a drying period in between waterings. But I have tried to evolve so that i dont have to water them everyday. But i am a cheap ass and i wanted to save on soil so i used worm castings that i found while redoing my parking lot at work. I am an idiot And I used them on my new plants. so now I have a problem Because I don't want to lose 30 plants And our governor Kathy Hochul outlawed The only thing that works for me does anybody have any suggestions.

Anyway, living in Ny I found the easiest way to beat the regulations is to buy it off ebay. You'll find a seller that gives no shits for NY rules for sure.
Case in point, I can't buy Permethrin to deal with ticks on my property but I can pay a contactor to send over some zit faced kid to spray the same...Ebay is the answer.

Please don’t take this as a “anti azamax” cause I’m not saying that, I’m saying def dif soluction sir alternative things? Fair enough eh

tbh azamax is overpriced ,like many traditional pesticides azamax the pest really do evolve and become resistant very fast to it and it def will stress many pheno’s out. If it must be that extract there’s a few other brands (molt-x, azaguard ) but like azamax very costly and honestly I had those kind of products for years and years in rotated and it wasn’t the golden ticket to sop and IPM to any pest, if anything when I started buying neem oil instead for that effects it did near same thing and what 20 bucks for 16 oz? Vs wayy more (it’s just a extract a max of neem )

Before I suggest any products or even think in that manner may I ask why u use azmax,Got pest issues? Explain which ur defending against/control? Drench/foliar? I will never give advice on products before pest or reasons why ur using a product. Hope ur not overapplying such product cause a;ll ur doing is making a super pest (manual will def say it’s limits per season )


Few years ago I could see neem or azamax as a good tool in between others but in recent years biocontrols and other alt def have stepped in and def steered me from only using neem only needed and steer towards other products fosure.There’s so much more than there was for insecticides that do work and pest can’t become resistant to now days and bonus many don’t hurt beneficial and also ur plants , the only thing azamax or neem has special and others do it too is ISR and anti molting effects which many others can do ( even insect frass brewed woild help with ISR/SAR effects ) .

Sorry didn’t see where u posted this so now I know what pest u are doing.Oh I see u posted this in “root aphids” neem def will become resistant and def should be limited . It’s best to use neem/azamax as a ISr mode of attack and to deter but also it makes their molting harder and reproduction decreased .after that u really should be drenching in pfr-97 and/or botaniguard 22wp and prefeed before u apply (to runoff/starting of runoff) than apply ur IPM drench and have it runoff ( pre drenching saves 50%+) . Have ur runoff soak into the plant for 30min-1hr ( I suggest having pot saucers ) , do this every 3 days for min 3 times in row. Than do this every 7 days. scan


Key like many is 100% saturation and not applying to a medium not pre-drenched otherwise ur IPM dfench might not be as workable but also a lot of waste. I remeber many times I woild suggest or try myself to do these drenches and it was the dry medium or not letting it be soaked by= letting the Rj off no wonder the pest could stay alive. Read my IPM suggestions for root aphids, oh wait admins or w/e deleted everything
