I can't say pain free, but I can say tolerable where I haven't had any Dilauded in years. I know sometimes I'm gonna need something for times when it's really bad, and I've made peace with that part, as there are times (every once in a while) where my back is locked for a few days and I'm kinda stuck in bed, but it's not constant every week like it used to be. I used to be over 100 pounds heavier and didn't do much moving around but a Chem D and some Cheese, and for the most part I'm good.

We hike a lot in the woods and I've noticed real improvements with my back. I messed my shoulder up too and as shocking as it is sometimes, the last time I had to go get a pain killer prescription was after dental surgery a few years ago.

One heck of a difference let me tell ya! I remember a dentist trying to knock me out back when I still had those prescription drugs and I kinda laughed at him after he was like "wait how are you all conscious??" Lol.

I don't miss that. My first time smoking Blue Cheese was literal the moment I stayed caring about weed and strain names ever. Before that weed didn't really help me, and I barely ever smoked it. But after that Cheese, that changed. Now that I can legally grow it, I only go to the Doctor when the Wife bitches about a check up and my cholesterol lol.

I Also haven't had Valium in years. Blue Cheese is great for anxiety specially when you let the resin go amber a bit.

I qualified for disability because of my back but I didn't pursue it. Went for Cheese instead. ?

Some people probably get annoyed hearing me talk about it but with the results... I've got a straw, they can have it to suck it up lol. I'd most likely be dead right now. If I ever annoy you with Cheese and Chemdog posts, just remember that those two families of strains and crosses, have done real help for me. There's other strains I love, but very few can compare to those two. I hope someone dealing with major pain problems finds the strains I did and gets help. I can't even describe the way life was just a decade ago; sometimes, I really did not care if I woke up the next day or not, and that's no way to live.

Another quick update. Chopped a second girl today - Gorilla Glue 4 x Sunshine 4 is now hanging. Everybody else is perking along - packing on the weight. Cycled 2 Apollonia XXs and a Banana Cough into the tent, and 2 Banana Coughs into the closet so now the tub isn't so crowded. My 2 FUBAR attempted "clones" are bulking up, too - past golf ball, starting to approach baseball size. One "clone's" a Tony Green Sowah Grapefruit and one's a Purple Lazerlite 3.

Back at it here on the ranch. Got 11 plants jarred up, with a few more hanging. Time to turn attention to the new girls on the scene.
I saw someone on here refer to this time as the "Puffball Phase" and that's where it's at right now.

I got 3 Apollonia XX's and 3 Banana Coughs - thanks to @Amos Otis for the assist
Also 2 Mountain Berries and 1 LSD from @HOGBACKMAGIC14 - thanks again, man!
And rounding out the group are 2 Gorilla Bubble BX5 from Tony Green

Wow - I have been slacking off on updating things. 4 weeks into flower now, and I've got 4 [plants in the closet and 6 in the tent.

I'm getting some really long and lanky plants this go around, and I'm not sure what's causing it. I've been running a hodge-podge of cheap lights and old lights and one good light, so I don't know if that may have contributed to the stretch in some or if it's just differing phenos. I still have a lot to learn about this stuff. Here's a pic of a pair of @Amos Otis' Apollonia XX - very different. Thanks again, man!

Topped at the same time, vegged together, but with an amalgam of lights. Maybe I need to invest in top shelf lights?
Or at least middle shelf lights? I dunno. It's hard work knowing so little! Advice is always appreciated!!

Better shot of Apollonia XX - putting on some weight now
appxx2.JPG

Brisco's Banana Cough - which I also have the same split in characteristics, 2 lanky, 1 short

Closet with the 4 lanky girls - these are over 4' tall - never had such a lanky group ever
closet.JPG

Tent with the squatty ones - @HOGBACKMAGIC14 's (thanks, brother) Mountain Berries is going off in here
and I will definitely get some good pics of her shortly

Yeah, enough light is vital. I don't spend top dollar for my screw in LED's obviously, but I compensate by upping the wattage. I think I'm about 450w for my 3x3 tent.

I bought a cheap light meter online when I started and I can push 95000 lumens at the canopy(not the ideal form of measurement, I know) with the proper array of 15w SILs with the globes removed. I have to watch for bleaching.

If you want to up your harvests, upping the light available to your girls will likely address your biggest bottleneck right now.

Couldn't find a great shot, but here's a pic from the journal. Just used $2 light sockets from the hardware store, wired 'em together and mounted them on a DIY wooden frame. The key is spacing. If the socket bases are tight together, the overlapping beams create big intensity. As soon as there is any space between them, intensity drops quite a bit. I have some spaced out fixtures for places like my little 18" x 30" x 36" tent where headroom is an issue. As long as they don't touch the bulbs plants can get very close without issue.
I use 10w 5000k for veg and a mix of 10 and 15w 3000k for flowering.

Some people remove the entire globe but I leave a ring. It makes it easier to see burnt out bulbs and helps direct the light down.

Been OOC for a minute, but am wandering back. 7 weeks into flower now. I've been trying a "bud sweetener" this go around, but I honestly can't tell any difference. If anyone has a go-to, or favorite, or if using these is just dumb, please let me know. I'm not sure any more why I even chose this one. What a stoner! Not the greatest pics, for sure, just not feeling it today.

That's wha

Sugar Daddy's what I use, too, as part of their mix - just didn't know if an additional supplement would be beneficial... or not
I was told by a buddy that Potash and molasses was good, but personally I've stuck by the TechnaFlora as I've had good results each year since I started giving them nutrients. I do add some Recharge to them too when I have some.

We had a decent amount left over from the previous year and it was about to go bad, so I grabbed it, and raked out a bon fire pit, and then the soil from last year's pots and mixed the potash from the pit and the old soil together, and then sprinkled all the recharge over that before I started setting plants outside for this year which seems to be working well so far.

Sometimes we have to reuse soil and bat guano and recharge can help with that.
