I actually have a book about Catfish (The angling parts, recipes, and the southern culture part) that I read. It's a great book really, and it's funny because, being a Northern man, I'm used to people around me going on and on about Bass, Walleye, Trout, and Salmon, and for me.... I'm sitting here right now, in a Tee shirt that says "I fish for Catfish; Everything else is just bait" LOL.

Catfish was the reason I never had eaten Chicken at Popeye's before this past two years; First time I went in one, I saw Cajun Catfish, and Red Beans and Rice on the menu, and ran out of money long before they ever ran out of those two things LOL.
